Mounting, Orientation, and Coverage
The mounting and positioning of the radar needs to be carefully considered to achieve optimal range and coverage.
Mounting
The back of the radar features four 10mm-deep M4 threads positioned in a stadard 75mmx75mm VESA pattern, which we recommend attaching to a mount of your choice.

Orientation
The following figure shows the optimal orientation of the radar.
It should be positioned:
- With the Atheraxon logo (and, therefore, the interfaces) at the top. In custom set-ups, the logo can be placed at the bottom.
- Straight up or slightly tilted down towards the area of interest.

Coverage
This figure (side view) shows the ±15° coverage of the radar in elevation. It is, therefore advisable to place the radar vertically or, depending on the height of its placement, with up to a 15° angle towards the ground.

This figure (top view) shows the ±60° coverage of the radar in azimuth. The radar can, therefore, cover most of the space in front of it.

This information pertains to optimal coverage zones. Outside of these angular ranges, localization of the tags is still possible, albeit at much lower detection ranges.
